Window display usually causes significant reflections despite the use of polariser. However, I add a gradient of black graduated filter and it did not turn out too bad instead.
The commonest problem of taking images in window display is the flare control and unsharp appearance. This lens makes the photo opportunity an exception!
Merry Christmas!

I have recently acquired E620 for better consistent autofocus. Back to shooting with this wonderful lens again.
The bokeh and the rich colour are really the signature of olympus 150mm f2!

Kind of running out of ideas to shoot with olympus gear as I am selling a lot of olympus four thirds over the past few months. Therefore shooting a lot less with this lens. Sometimes I wish olympus could produce a sensor that is very usable at high iso with faster autofocus speed for this particular gem.
Though image quality is good as the images from this lens are usually sharp with beautiful bokeh. But the autofocus speed makes it more difficult to use (I do use manual focus telephoto primes with f2 or f2.8).
So an ordinary shot from a mundane walk the other day!

Ever since I got E620 body, the autofocus is faster and more accurate. Even in this dark setting, the image turns out rather pleasantly.
I found out that this lens does render foreground bokeh nicely.

I had a stroll in the victoria market. There are a lot of people haggling the prices of various items. I spotted this opportunity to get the bokeh happening. My intention is to check for bokeh performance in shadow areas.
Not too bad at all. However, the distance between the bottle and the backdrop is probably too far to make an assessment of the bokeh rendering property.

Telephoto range lens can created a good crop of a nice scenery where wide angle would have minimised the impact of scenery

Long time since I have used this lens. Again, E620 does allow me to utilise this len with better autofocus capability.
The bokeh is surprisingly good under such intense sun light.
I will be shooting a lot more with lens again :)

Rosella population is on the decline in Australia due to severe drought and reduced vegetation. Though this lens does have slow autofocus speed, the dehydration probably makes these birds less agile ... :)

This is an image snapped with f2! Sharp from corner to corner. Yet the blue turns out soooo glistening beautiful in deed.
The trip to the region was manifested with drizzling rain and mulitple motor vehicle accidents.

Among all my gears, Olympus gear is the one I simplify the most. My E520 camera body suffers some malfunction that I could not utilise this lens that much these days. I am in the process of looking for an E620 or E30 to use. However, the pricing is rather scary.
This chap is a very nice guy, playing the whole afternoon while I was dining my seafood risotto!

The shoes are hanged around the alleys of Melbourne. Something to look forward to everytime I visit the city.
It is reported that the shoes mark the spot for drug dealing

This is an image opposite to the cliff face I was standing on. The lighting condition was poor but I like the texture of the rock surface there and the colour from the grass.
What I am amazed with is the reproduction of the colour through white haze! This lens really shows me the strength in the area of vibrant colour rendering...

The rain was pouring. It was very overcast. The water surfaced up from the dried up lake. A sad look. Desolate and sad.
Thanks to the eratic exposure, the place looks alive!

Nice green colour and the lens copes with metallic highlights pretty well!

This korean man is dressing up for a cause. A good cause but I never know what it is!
He has been doing the basking for about a year or so. Always dancing around violently shaking all joints. A little disturbing. Yes. Everyone stares at him.
In this shot, his whole body vibrates. Only f2 manages to get his face sharp. The rest of the image is suffering motion blurs.
So you get the juice that this man is a little more than weird...

I have to confess that I have not used this lens for quite some time. Surprisingly, this lens works nicely when I decide to take a walk on Dockland, Melbourne. The wake boarding contestants are skating with lightening speed. Comparing to my friend, Joel's Nikon D90, I failed to capture as many as he could have.
However, I did get lucky with a few. Here is one of them. Nice and crisp for a change!
