Donkey - pretends to be sleeping

This funny creature has been tailgating my car on Raymond Island, Victoria, Australia. The island is quite desolate and this donkey seemed pretty much wild. It was keeping quite a bit of distance from me and I had to approach it with my feet gently moving forwards.

The high contrast environment seems to be a tough task on Olympus 150mm f2. However, the highlight is not really blown out at all. I think this is because of the distance from the subject to camera being quite long to reduce this problem.

I like the bokeh though. :)

He is kind of annoyed because I snapped this shot. At Federation square when he was about to whinge about his olympus E3 camera :)

Snow River National Park Cliff

This rock face really reminds me of an old volcano era where dinosaurs reigned the land. So rough and arid. So much colour with touch texture to it.

This cliff face was way beyond where I stood in eastern part of victoria.

What a clarity of image despite the long distance!

Greek Dance

This was an event that took place in Federation Square. The dance was rather exhausting by this group of dancers. They perspired and they struggled to breathe.
The day was rather harsh with sun light that olympus 150mm f2 does not seem to adapt to the high contrast scenes too well. Quite a few images were prone to the clipping as the result of this type of lighting setting.

Unmask

Olympus ZD 150mm f2 is really a great lens. On the crappy sensor of E520, the image quality is definitely more superior than Olympus 50-200mm f2.8-3.5 SWD optical performance.

This lady is in fact constantly moving during her show. F2 not only gives the stark contrast to the image rendering but also a touch of strong colour.

Bokeh seems to be rather smooth and swirly.

She is a regular performer on south bank of Melbourne, Australia. I think she gets to know me pretty well these days
