Wakeboarding flight

I have to confess that I have not used this lens for quite some time. Surprisingly, this lens works nicely when I decide to take a walk on Dockland, Melbourne. The wake boarding contestants are skating with lightening speed. Comparing to my friend, Joel's Nikon D90, I failed to capture as many as he could have.

However, I did get lucky with a few. Here is one of them. Nice and crisp for a change!

Wow, if you used an f2 on this exposure, what shutter speed was it? You did a good job of stopping the action and getting plenty of good light...

The shutter speed was about 1/4000 sec...

Thanks for the visit Frigga. The point of using that aperture is to pop the picture :)

I'm still learning about the shutter speeds and f/stops... I was confused for a while, but now I realize the an f/2 is one of the widest open stops.

Thanks for helping me figure that out! :)

Human observer, thank you for your visit!

F2 is a fun aperture to use in deed. I love it to blurr background and it helps me to pop the picture!
