Acrobatic trick with fire stick
Posted by roentarre Monday, December 28, 2009 at 7:40 AM
This chap was standing on his single stick erecting on the ground. The trick does look impressive in the middle of federation square
You can see the ripple of hot air caused by the hot air.

Window display usually causes significant reflections despite the use of polariser. However, I add a gradient of black graduated filter and it did not turn out too bad instead.
The commonest problem of taking images in window display is the flare control and unsharp appearance. This lens makes the photo opportunity an exception!
Merry Christmas!

I have recently acquired E620 for better consistent autofocus. Back to shooting with this wonderful lens again.
The bokeh and the rich colour are really the signature of olympus 150mm f2!

Kind of running out of ideas to shoot with olympus gear as I am selling a lot of olympus four thirds over the past few months. Therefore shooting a lot less with this lens. Sometimes I wish olympus could produce a sensor that is very usable at high iso with faster autofocus speed for this particular gem.
Though image quality is good as the images from this lens are usually sharp with beautiful bokeh. But the autofocus speed makes it more difficult to use (I do use manual focus telephoto primes with f2 or f2.8).
So an ordinary shot from a mundane walk the other day!
